TAKECOAT®-Antiseizure makes it possible to avoid seizure with stainless steel bolts, a long-standing issue with special films. With heat resistance up to 300° C, treatment is possible not only on bolts, but on objects of any shape because TAKECOAT®-Antiseizure is thin and has little impact on dimensional precision. Takenaka also has models with lower torque coefficients upon request.
Using the Dacrotized® treatment developed by Diamond Shamrock for self-repairing corrosion-resistant films that are self-repairing and have sacrificial corrosion protection, metal products are transformed into an anti-corrosion substance exceeding that obtained with electrogalvanizing. Because of that superior corrosion resistance, Dacrotized® is used in automobile parts, home electronics, construction, civil engineering and other applications. Takenaka also provides Dacrotized® treatment with lower torque coefficients upon request.
For high-voltage situations, a product with a high level of insulation is needed. Takenaka has successfully combined insulating materials such as insulation sleeves and washers with various corrosion-resistant bolts to create bolt products with both a high level of insulation and corrosion resistance. The film for corrosion-resistant bolts can be selected from TAKECOAT® 1000, TAKECOAT® - CERAMIC1 and Dacrotized® according to the desired level of anti-corrosion performance. Applicable to any sort of material and hexagon bolts as well as double-threaded bolts.
Repair Liquid for TAKECOAT®
When installing TAKECOAT® 1000 treated products on-site, Takenaka’s repair liquid is excellent for when the film surface is damaged. Prepared with the same fluorocarbon polymer that is the main ingredient in TAKECOAT® 1000, this repair liquid cures at room temperature without mixing, and provides corrosion resistance on par with TAKECOAT® 1000.
